What does pause mean within maintenance?
It is possible to pause maintenance after the first period if you no longer want it. The pause can last 24 months, if no action is used to re-enter the contract, the contract is terminated after the 24 months. There is no billing during the pause.

You can manage the maintenance contract in your Control Center under the heading "Purchases & Subscriptions".
